Fun Family Activity: Kicking Field Goals

Welcome back to our weekly family activity. Our latest adventure took us to the local football field, where we spent the afternoon kicking field goals, well, attempting to do so at least.

What you need

  1. A Football

  2. A park or field to play

  3. Football tee (optional)

What to do

  1. We set up about 10-20 yards away and took turns kicking field fields, and when I say kicking field goals, we attempted to. It is a LOT harder than it looks folks. I think after over an hour, we only had two kicks that made it through the goal posts.

Tips for more fun

  1. If you are better than us at kicking field goals, then you can add some challenges by doing it blindfolded or playing HORSE. If you live under a rock and have never heard of this game, then a quick Google search will enlighten you :).

  2. If you do not have a football, no worries, you can play soccer, baseball, frisbee, or something completely different. The goal for this week is to get outside and have some fun.

This was one of our more favorite activities that we have done. It was nice to get outside and get some fresh air. We also learned to have more respect for people who kick field goals, because it is so hard. If you play this game, we would love to hear about it in the comments! Or post about it on social media and tag us @keksibakery!

Stay tuned for more fun and games next week.
