THE LAUNCH PAD
2020
Armed with a college degree and a total lack of interest in a traditional 9-to-5, I started looking for a way out of the "corporate" path before I even entered it. Growing up, my mom made incredible cookies—so good that people constantly told her she should be selling them—and my love for her and her cookies made the idea stick long before it ever became a business. Eventually, she said what everyone else had been saying for years: "Just sell my cookies." We spent that first year in the family kitchen, turning flour and sugar into a proof of concept. It turns out, Mom was right.
GROWING PAINS
2021
The home kitchen couldn’t hold us anymore. We officially moved into our first warehouse space, traded residential ovens for industrial power, and scaled our operations. This was the year we realized this wasn’t just a hobby—it was a brand. We started shipping nationwide, proving that a cookie born in a Texas kitchen had fans from coast to coast.
FINDING OUR SOUL
2021-2023
This was the "messy middle." We spent two years wrestling with our soul—changing logos, swapping color palettes, and testing names like we were in a lab. It was exhausting, but necessary. We refused to settle for "good enough" until we landed on the Keksi identity: a brand that felt as premium as the ingredients we use and as grounded as our Texas roots. Take a look at some of our previous logos, and for those that don't know, it's pronounced like sexy but with a 'k'.
OUTSIDE THE BOX
2024-2025
We realized our customers weren't just hungry; they were looking for a way to celebrate. We leaned into our Themed Boxes, shifting from selling individual treats to creating curated experiences. Whether it was a holiday, a heartbreak, or a "just because" moment, we built a box for it. This was the era where Keksi became a staple for gifting.
THE NEW FRONTIER
2026+
Six years in, and we’re just getting started. This year is all about physical footprints and bigger moves. We are currently expanding our base of operations to handle the heat—investing in heavy-duty gear like our new walk-in freezer and industrial mixers to keep up with the demand. We’re also working on stepping into our very first traditional retail space, taking everything we’ve learned online and bringing it to a storefront near you.
